About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Administration Driver in Sulphur, Louisiana, you will serve and safeguard clients at a chemical/petrochemical location. You will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. The position is full time and pays $15.50 per hour. The posted schedule is Monday 4:00 PM–4:00 AM, Wednesday 4:30 PM–10:30 PM, Saturday 4:00 AM–4:00 PM, and Sunday 4:00 PM–4:00 AM.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
Verify identification, credentials, access authorizations, and visitor documentation before permitting entry to restricted areas.
Monitor access points, visitor management systems, alarm panels, and camera feeds; report unusual activity, access discrepancies, and equipment concerns according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access-control points, building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify potential security concerns.
