About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Part Time Alarm Panel Event Monitor in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer will help safeguard clients, visitors, employees, and property by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, responding to alarms and access-control needs, documenting incidents, and providing customer service. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Friday and Saturday, 6:45 AM to 7:00 PM, and pays $21.00 per hour. A shift-claiming platform is available to explore additional shifts.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter.
Help maintain a secure environment for visitors, employees, and property.
Respond to alarms and access-control needs and document incidents.
