About The Position

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location in Lompoc, California, you will safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and communication. This is a part-time position with a schedule of Fridays and Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The pay rate is $27.02 per hour. You will carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, respond to incidents and alarms, monitor for unusual conditions and potential hazards, and maintain accurate activity logs and reports. The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance. Employment is subject to background investigation and drug screening, as permitted by law.

Requirements

Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual conditions, access-control concerns, and potential hazards, and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.
