About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol driver at a chemical/petrochemical location in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, you will help safeguard clients and serve site personnel, visitors, and drivers. The role includes conducting vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and documenting observations. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position and must comply with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and drivers while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random vehicle and foot patrols of chemical and petrochemical facilities, access points, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access control points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, contractors, and deliveries according to site requirements.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, spills, and critical situations, follow established site protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and access-related concerns in accurate reports and shift logs.
