About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed patrol Security Officer at a financial institution location in Frederick, Maryland. The officer will safeguard the client’s site by maintaining a visible presence, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, and providing customer service and clear communication. The role is scheduled Sunday and Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at a rate of $21.34 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors while following site-specific procedures and access-control requirements.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter, identifying and reporting security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor, vehicle, and delivery records according to site policies.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency response procedures.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
