About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Asset Protection in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. The role provides consistent hours at an assigned site, with an assigned weekly shift that serves as a base schedule and requires a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed.

The position pays $19.13 per hour. The listed schedule is Saturday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM. Officers provide customer service while carrying out security procedures and site policies, respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
