About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for an entry management driving post at a commercial real estate location in Honolulu, Hawaii. The officer will help safeguard the site by managing access points, verifying credentials, monitoring activity, conducting routine patrols, and providing customer service and clear communication. The position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Pay is $23.40 per hour. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening, as permitted by law.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency-response activities.
Monitor and control access to building entrances, parking areas, loading docks, and other designated areas; verify visitor, contractor, and vendor authorization according to site procedures.
Maintain accurate access-related records, including visitor logs, contractor check-ins, delivery activity, and incident documentation, while protecting confidential information.
Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to access concerns, incidents, and critical situations; communicate with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned building areas and the perimeter to identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security concerns.
