About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Patrol Officer in New Port Richey, Florida, to serve and safeguard clients at an aerospace manufacturing location. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. The role involves communicating professionally with employees and visitors and providing customer service. The schedule is Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Pay is $23.50 per hour.

Requirements

Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Comfortably use a computer or tablet.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A valid firearms permit is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and other designated locations.
Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required.
Report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
Coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
