About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Verification in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, you will safeguard an automotive location by managing entry points, verifying credentials, supporting badge access, and providing customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. The role involves professional communication, observation, and access-control procedures to help maintain a secure environment. The position is full-time and pays $17.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. On-site facilities are limited and include portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor access points at an automotive location, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access-control records.
Control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
