Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Observe operations and facility conditions, report hazards, equipment concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
