About The Position

As a Security Officer Front Desk Access Services in Scottdale, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in logistics and distribution settings. You will provide a welcoming, visible presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will help maintain an organized environment, respond to questions with exceptional customer service, and support incident reporting. This is a full-time position paying $13.50 per hour, with a schedule of Monday, Friday, and Sunday from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and employees at the front desk while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor facility access by verifying visitor and vendor credentials, maintaining visitor records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
Answer and route incoming calls, receive deliveries and packages, and communicate relevant information to site personnel.
Observe front entrance activity and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and other security-related matters to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following site-specific procedures and emergency response protocols.
