About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Access Desk in Fontana, California, at a manufacturing and industrial location. The role provides a designated site and weekly anchor shift that requires a six-month commitment. Officers may also claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of as many as 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The listed pay rate is $19.32 per hour.

The position provides customer service and supports site-specific access-control procedures, monitors and documents entry, responds to incidents and alarms, and conducts patrols. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorized entry, maintain visitor and contractor records, and support procedures for restricted areas.
• Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations; communicate observations to site contacts or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; document observations and report potential concerns.
• Support the flow of authorized personnel, vehicles, materials, and deliveries while helping deter unauthorized access and maintaining professional interactions.
