About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for an access desk at a logistics and distribution location in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The role helps maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying badges and visitor access, monitoring activity, and supporting security operations. The officer provides professional customer service and communicates with employees and visitors while maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Pay is $19.18 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Nice To Haves

Experience using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.
Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to associates, visitors, drivers, and vendors by following site-specific access-control procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify identification and credentials, manage visitor and contractor sign-in processes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
Control entry and exit of vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site requirements, escalating unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
