About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Elmira, New York. The officer monitors security systems and screens for suspicious activity, identifies potential threats before they escalate, and helps protect people and property. The role is scheduled full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at an hourly rate of $18.04. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
