About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Elmira, New York. The role focuses on monitoring security systems and screens to spot suspicious activity and potential threats before they escalate. The officer also helps protect people and property by documenting incidents, responding to potential threats, patrolling premises, controlling access, and coordinating with law enforcement when needed. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at $18.04 per hour. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a state license if required.
