About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Credential Review in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. The role provides a reliable, designated weekly shift at an assigned logistics and distribution site, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The fixed shift requires a six-month commitment. Employees may work additional hours, potentially building up to 40 hours per week, while retaining the option to scale back. The stated pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

The officer provides customer service and carries out site-specific security procedures, controls facility access, monitors truck and delivery activity, responds to incidents, and conducts patrols. The role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles (or 21 or older for armed roles) and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on applicable background and drug screening requirements; licensing may also be required by state or local law.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations.

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Control facility access by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, processing visitor and driver information, and maintaining accurate access records.
• Monitor truck traffic, delivery activity, and designated access areas to support orderly movement throughout the distribution location.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and other designated locations.
