About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, the Security Officer monitors and patrols assigned areas, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provides customer service and communication to employees, visitors, and vendors. The role supports a welcoming environment while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. It is a part-time position with a schedule of Saturday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. Pay is $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
