About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol Field Support in San Bernardino, California. The position provides a fixed weekly shift at an assigned government site, with a six-month commitment to that site and schedule. Employees may claim additional shifts through the company's scheduling platform and can work toward a schedule of up to 40 hours per week.

The stated schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 11:30 PM to 6:30 AM. The pay rate is $22.49 per hour. The role involves customer service and security procedures, unarmed patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and reporting.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid driver's license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and provide directions or assistance in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
