About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver for an assigned site in Hereford, Texas, at a food and beverage production location. The role provides a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional shifts can increase weekly hours up to 40, with the ability to scale back. The position pays $15.00 per hour with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor site access, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain visitor records, and report access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Observe loading, shipping, receiving, and employee entry areas for compliance with site requirements, escalating suspicious activity, property concerns, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and/or client contacts.
