About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Granville, Ohio. The role provides consistent hours at an assigned manufacturing and industrial site, with a designated weekly shift requiring a six-month commitment. In addition to the assigned shift, officers may claim extra shifts through the scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; it is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and documentation.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift handoff communications while supporting a professional, customer-focused environment.
