About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer Enhanced for property rounds at an assigned site in San Antonio, Texas. The role offers a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform. Hours may vary week to week, with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The listed schedule is Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Pay is $15.00 per hour.

The officer provides customer service and carries out security procedures and site policies. Duties include unarmed patrols of commercial real estate and surrounding areas, monitoring access points, observing and reporting concerns, responding to incidents and alarms, and documenting activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification.
• A guard card or license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial buildings, parking areas, common areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and property activity, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow site procedures, and document actions taken.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs while communicating professionally with property occupants and management.
