About The Position

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring security systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. The officer also serves as a helpful professional resource and ensures people on the property follow safety protocols. Full- and part-time shifts are available at the Madison, Wisconsin site. The listed wage is $21.00–$25.00 per hour. No prior experience is necessary. The role includes access control, patrols, surveillance monitoring, emergency response, conflict resolution, and enforcement of company policies and applicable safety and legal requirements.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
Able to remain calm under pressure and vigilant throughout the shift.
Able to respond to emergencies using rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
Strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
Must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening, including a drug screen and background investigation.
