About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring a Flex Security Officer in the West Chester area. The role provides general security services for clients and helps maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees. Open availability is required, and both full-time and part-time positions are available. The position pays $21.00 per hour. Officers may work in all-weather conditions, conduct routine foot patrols, and perform moderate lifting as required.

Requirements

• Customer-service orientation and effective written and oral communication skills.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting.
• Open availability to work flexible hours.
• At least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and Texas Security License.
• Reliable means of transportation and communication.
• Must meet all pre-employment requirements.
• Must pass criminal background, motor vehicle, and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to clients.
• Observe, correct, and report hazards to promote safety.
• Understand and comply with DSI and client requirements, including specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures and DSI’s safety manual.
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
• Perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting as required.
• Work in all-weather conditions as needed.
