Security Officer Part Time Access Control Administrator
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Access Control Security Officer in Hatfield, Pennsylvania. The role helps maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, documenting activity, and providing professional customer service. The officer’s visible presence and clear communication help deter incidents while supporting daily operations. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour. Applicants must meet the listed age, experience, education, technical, and physical requirements. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required by state or local rules.
Requirements
- At least one year of verifiable, relevant security-related experience.
- Comfort and proficiency using a computer or tablet, including familiarity with basic software applications and digital platforms.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 21 years of age, as stated in the role-specific age requirement.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- State or local licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.

Responsibilities
- Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
- Monitor entry points, verify authorized access, and document activity.
- Support emergency response activities when appropriate.
