About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a financial institution location in Indianapolis, Indiana. The officer helps safeguard employees, visitors, and the client’s premises by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and documenting observations. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and representing Allied Universal’s values. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The pay rate is $18.80 per hour. Part-time officers may use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following established emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual conditions or security concerns according to site procedures.
Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
