Note: We are a drug free workplace. A drug screen (mouth swab and / or urinalyses are used) (drug screen includes THC) will be required during the hiring process. Background investigations are performed pre-employment. Interviews will be virtual on the Google Meet App and proper interview attire is required to be interviewed.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a PERC Security Officer License in the State of Illinois.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED or be willing to complete the GED program within 6 months.
Above average computer / technology skills needed.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
Must be able to work independently.
Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
Must have a professional demeanor.
Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record required (this position will include driver certification).
Reliable form of communication device needed (cell phone).
Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
Reliable form of transportation needed (public transportation is not available for this position due to shift and / or location).

Nice To Haves

Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
Conduct tours of the property.
Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
