About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling a variety of locations. The officer preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives at client sites regarding personnel, visitors, and the area. The role involves frequent interaction with client employees and guests, customer service, completing assigned rounds and property tours, and using technology devices during the shift. Officers may also carry out other tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
Professional demeanor.
Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including a drug screen and background investigation.
Safe Driver and CPR certifications.

Nice To Haves

Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises and control access.

Respond to emergencies using rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
