About The Position

The Security Officer provides customer service while enforcing company security and safety regulations at the Casino/Hotel. The role guards the transfer of money and chips, helps ensure compliance with casino regulations, and may operate a company vehicle. It also supports the multi-casino Bad Beat system. The work environment is diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven, and involves coordinating multiple projects and adjusting priorities to accommodate last-minute requests and changes. The stated target salary is $19.00 per hour. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time.

Requirements

Ability to perform the listed customer-service and security duties.
Ability to talk and hear regularly and to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls frequently.
Ability to occasionally stand, walk, sit, reach, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate superior customer service by maintaining an upbeat, positive attitude and sustaining enthusiasm across guest interactions.
Create a welcoming atmosphere, greet guests warmly, anticipate their needs, provide prompt service, check for satisfaction, and resolve service breakdowns.
Promote programs and card membership, celebrate guests’ wins, and thank guests when they leave.
Stay informed about daily information and build positive relationships with guests.
Enforce company security and safety regulations and perform security- and safety-related duties for the Casino/Hotel.
Guard the transfer of money and chips.
Help ensure that casino regulations are followed at all times.
Operate a motorized vehicle, such as a company van.
Participate in supervising, operating, or supporting the multi-casino Bad Beat system.
Perform other duties as assigned.
