About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location in East Saint Louis, Illinois, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service and communication. You will follow site-specific policies and security procedures, respond to incidents and alarms, monitor access to restricted areas, and report security concerns. The position pays $20.00 per hour and is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required.
Report suspicious activity, access concerns, and security incidents to appropriate personnel.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.
