Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Entry Screening
About The Position
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Entry Screening in San Francisco, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and team members, and use technology to document observations and support daily operations. The role is full-time and pays $25.00 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Experience with access control and badge systems.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet.
- Customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations using problem-solving skills.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report incidents and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with company and site requirements.
