About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Patrol Officer to support a government-operated utility location in Harriman, Tennessee. The officer will serve and safeguard clients by maintaining a visible security presence, conducting armed patrols, monitoring access, responding to security concerns, and providing customer service and communication. The posted schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The pay rate is $19.34 per hour.

Requirements

At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Armed guard card or license.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, critical infrastructure, and perimeter areas; report unusual conditions and potential hazards.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles in accordance with site policies and post orders.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
Prepare accurate reports of patrol activities, incidents, access-control matters, and security observations according to company and site procedures.
