About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Badge Management in Atlanta, Georgia, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. The role includes conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to deter security-related incidents, supporting access control activities, and responding to alarms as needed. You will provide customer service and communication while representing Allied Universal’s culture and values. The position is full-time and pays $21.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday from 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience, be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Access control and badge experience, alarm panel experience, and comfort using a computer or tablet are preferred. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements depend on applicable state or local laws and may be required before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors.
Remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and respond to alarms as needed.
