About The Position

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. The officer serves as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols. The position is full-time at a site in Portland, Oregon, with a wage of $22.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday 8 a.m.–8 p.m. and Tuesday–Wednesday 2 p.m.–12 a.m. No experience is necessary.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
Must be able to remain calm under pressure and vigilant throughout the shift.
Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
Strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
Must be willing to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.
