About The Position

As a Security Officer - Union Headquarters in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and badge processes. Requirements

Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the commercial office property, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points, observe activity, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate site contacts.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.
