This specific role is for a Union Security Officer for a commercial campus. New hires must enroll in the union. The position requires weekend availability.

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Exceptional Customer Service skills.
• Ability to speak clearly and concisely.
• Ability to keep a neat and organized workstation.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR Required.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Experience in providing detailed incident reports.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to be a team player and work in a team environment.
• Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards.
• Ability to multi-task and self-manage in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• CT Guard Card.
• CPR Certified.

Nice To Haves

• Security Officers familiar with Active Tours/Patrol preferred.

Responsibilities

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.
• Investigate & report security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior.
• Maintain the organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Perform daily activity reports and incident reports when necessary.
• Project a positive image in dress and decorum.
• Identify leaks and spills, inspect doors and locks on site to prevent potential hazards.
• Provide a high level of customer service to clients and all client employees and visitors.
• Conduct foot patrols frequently.
