About The Position

As a Security Officer Front Desk Driver Visitor Services in Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients at a utilities facility. You will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide customer service and professional communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located. The role is full-time and pays $20.39 per hour. The listed schedule is Thursday from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and Friday and Saturday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and delivery personnel at the facility front desk.
• Manage facility access by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests according to site-specific policies.
• Answer phones, receive and route inquiries, and communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders.
• Monitor assigned security systems, alarms, and cameras, and report unusual activity or equipment concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established procedures and emergency response protocols.
