About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling a variety of locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives for the client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Officers also frequently provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. This is a temporary position in New Haven, Connecticut, scheduled Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The position pays $19. No experience is necessary; training is provided for an introduction to a career in the security industry. Candidates with retail, food service, or hospitality backgrounds may be a good fit.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide customer service.

Nice To Haves

Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
Security or relevant experience.
Connecticut Guard Card.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background.
