About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling a variety of locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. The role also frequently involves providing customer service and information to client employees and customers. This position is located in Cheshire, Connecticut, and works Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. No security experience is necessary; training is provided. Applicants with retail, food service, or hospitality experience may be a good fit. U.S. citizenship is required.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide customer service.
U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
Security or relevant experience.
Connecticut Guard Card.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background.
