About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer in Screening Operations in Hutchins, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will monitor access points, screen personnel and visitors, and help maintain a secure environment. The role requires a visible presence, professional communication, incident documentation, and customer-focused support to help deter security-related concerns. The position pays $16.82 per hour and follows the listed schedule: Friday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM; Saturday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM; and Sunday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures and security screening protocols.
Screen individuals, packages, and/or property entering designated areas; report prohibited items, irregularities, or policy concerns to site leadership.
Monitor access points, verify credentials or authorizations as required, and maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and incident documentation.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, follow emergency response procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including business operations and perimeter locations, to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
