About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location in Saint Joe, Indiana. The role includes monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control, assisting employees and visitors professionally, and reporting security-related concerns. The position pays $16.00 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production-area perimeters, parking areas, access points, and other assigned locations.
Identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle records in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and facility concerns to Allied Universal supervision and designated client representatives.
