About The Position

The Access Control & Patrol Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and patrolling locations. The officer observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, helps protect client property and personnel, preserves order, and enforces site-related regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. The role requires a valid Pennsylvania driver's license and driver certification. The schedule includes weekend hours on a swing shift. The wage is $17.50 per hour.

Requirements

Valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
Driver certification.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to complete patrols.
Strong technology skills, including use of a cell phone and computer.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers/guards.
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods; may include climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
May frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is considered a good fit.
