About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a customer-service-focused concierge role. The position involves working with people in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers, welcoming and guiding visitors, controlling access, and helping protect people and property. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11 PM to 7 AM, for 40 hours per week. The hourly wage is $20.25. A uniform is provided at no cost.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process, including background and drug screening.
• Texas Security License or ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving background.
• At least 21 years of age, as required by applicable law or contractual requirement.

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and provide directions or assistance.
• Manage access control.
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
