About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a government human services location in San Bernardino, California. The officer will help safeguard employees, visitors, and members of the public by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to security concerns, monitoring access and visitor activity, and providing professional customer service. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and pays $21.49 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; notify site personnel or emergency responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, assist with direction and entry requirements, and report unusual activity.
Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports in accordance with company and site procedures.
