About The Position

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Moreno Valley, California, to help maintain a welcoming and secure environment. The role involves monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and responding to security-related concerns. Officers remain visible, communicate professionally, deter incidents, and support a positive experience for employees and guests. The position pays $19.57 per hour and is scheduled for daytime shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The company offers a Claim a Shift platform for viewing and claiming additional shifts.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access by verifying credentials, documenting visitor activity, and directing guests, employees, and vendors according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and potential concerns.
Maintain accurate access-control logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
