About The Position

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, you will safeguard clients by managing access and helping maintain a secure environment. You will verify credentials, monitor access activity, assist visitors and employees, and provide a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. The role calls for clear communication, attention to detail, professionalism, and a collaborative, integrity-focused approach. This is a full-time position paying $14.50 per hour, with weekly pay. The scheduled shifts are Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any state or local licensing requirements that may apply before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Control access by verifying identification, monitoring entry and exit points, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow site-specific protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
Monitor assigned access control systems, alarms, and cameras, and report unusual activity or equipment concerns.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including access points and restricted areas.
