Security Officer Full Time Credential Verification
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer in Boca Raton, Florida, for a food and beverage distribution location. The role involves managing facility access, verifying credentials, monitoring assigned areas, conducting patrols, and helping maintain a welcoming and secure environment. The officer provides customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures and supporting emergency response when appropriate. The posted schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $18.50 per hour. The position requires at least one year of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants are subject to background investigation and, where permitted by law, drug screening.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related records.
- Screen and document incoming and outgoing trucks, vendors, and deliveries according to site procedures and applicable food distribution requirements.
- Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, and promptly communicate observations to appropriate site contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unauthorized access and unusual activity.
