About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, you will serve and safeguard clients at an automotive manufacturing location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role involves using computer or tablet systems to document incidents, communicating clearly, and helping deter security-related concerns. The position is scheduled Tuesday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $15.75 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
Respond calmly to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, production-adjacent locations, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
Accurately document incidents, access-control activity, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
