About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Computer Operations in Richardson, Texas. The position provides consistent hours at an assigned site on a designated weekly shift, with a six-month commitment to that fixed schedule. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, allowing them to increase their hours and work at multiple sites. The role is intended for part-time employment, with the option to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. Pay is $18.07 per hour. The listed schedule is Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Officers provide customer service while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, and conduct regular and random patrols. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Applicable licensing requirements may apply.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
