About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Authentication in Vance, Alabama, at an automotive facility. The position provides a designated site and weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. The role offers the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back as needed.

The officer provides customer service and carries out site-specific screening, access-control, and, when appropriate, emergency-response procedures. Duties include verifying people and deliveries before granting access, responding to incidents, and patrolling screening areas and the surrounding perimeter.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency-response activities at an automotive facility.
• Screen authorized personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles according to site requirements and access-control procedures.
• Verify identification, credentials, appointments, delivery documentation, and/or authorization before permitting entry to restricted areas.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized access and support security operations.
