About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Campus Patrol in Gallatin, Tennessee. The role provides a reliable assigned-site schedule, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The designated weekly schedule requires a six-month commitment; additional shifts may provide opportunities to work more hours, potentially building up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week. The listed pay rate is $16.00 per hour.

The position provides security and customer service at a manufacturing and industrial location. Duties include carrying out site-specific security procedures, responding to incidents and alarms, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access and visitors, maintaining logs, and assisting with traffic flow and coordination with site personnel.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require candidates to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
• Commit to the designated site and weekly anchor shift for six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Assist with access control, traffic flow, and coordination with site personnel during deliveries, shift changes, and emergency-related events.
